Questions about the desktop app
No. Every workspace runs in any modern browser at its own address, such as yourteam.rowsh.com. The desktop app adds native notifications, a tray icon, and a focused window, and it signs in to the same workspace.
Choose Apple Silicon for Macs with an M1 chip or newer, and Intel for older Macs. You can check under Apple menu > About This Mac.
Rowsh checks for a new release each time it starts. When one is available it asks first, then downloads and installs it for you.
The AppImage runs on most distributions without installing: make it executable and open it. The Debian package installs through apt on Ubuntu, Debian, and related distributions.
Operating systems often ask you to confirm apps downloaded from the internet. Check that the installer came from rowsh.com, then allow it. On macOS, use System Settings > Privacy & Security if the app is blocked.
